Register of Deeds Office Early Closure on June 27

Register of Deeds Office will close early at 1:00 p.m. on June 27, reopening the next day.

The Register of Deeds Office will close at 1:00 p.m. today, Thursday, June 27, at its new location, 300 Deaderick Street. Normal business hours will resume on Friday, June 28.

Complimentary street parking is available, marked by signs along Deaderick Street and Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd. (Charlotte Pike) between 3rd and 4th Avenues North. A temporary entrance is accessible near the parking area on MLK Blvd.

Murfreesboro City Offices Closed for Independence Day

Most city offices in Murfreesboro, including City Hall and the St. Clair Street Senior Center, will be closed on July 4, 2024, for Independence Day. Public transportation and most recreational facilities will also be closed, except for Boro Beach and Bloomfield Links. The city will host its “Celebration Under the Stars” event at the Fountains at Gateway, featuring a live concert by Craig Campbell and fireworks. Normal operations will resume on July 5, 2024.
