Central Precinct detectives are working to identify three suspects who fired at a security guard after being confronted while breaking into cars in a downtown parking garage. The incident occurred at the Demonbreun Street garage at 1:45 a.m. on May 20th.
According to reports, the three male suspects were seen on surveillance video breaking into several vehicles. The armed security guard, while making his rounds, heard the disturbance and approached the suspects. The suspects then fled into a stairwell, and one of them fired shots towards the guard as they ran. Fortunately, the guard was not injured.
