Man Arrested in Connection to April Homicide

A man was arrested for his role in an April homicide case.

A 21-year-old man, Juan Miguel Pulido, was arrested by Specialized Investigations detectives in connection with the April 28th homicide of Francisco Almazan-Rojas, 36, in William Pitts Park off Tusculum Road.

Pulido was identified as the driver of a Hyundai Sonata that followed behind an unidentified individual who moved Almazan-Rojas’ Ford F-150 pickup truck from the park to Luton Street. The truck was then abandoned, and the individual entered the Sonata. Pulido posted a $5,000 bond and was released.

South Nashville Fatal Shooting Investigation Progresses

Homicide Unit detectives are making progress in investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal shooting of 18-year-old Rickey O. Hale, who was found collapsed behind Lakeshore Christian Church on Bell Forge Lane. Preliminary findings indicate Hale was shot in the area late Wednesday night, with the investigation still ongoing as detectives gather more evidence and information.
