Traffic Unit investigators are working to locate Nicolas Abdul-Wali, 27, for an outstanding vehicular homicide warrant related to the November 20 fatal crash that claimed the life of Miguel Sanchez Lara, 60, on Murfreesboro Pike at Dover Glen Drive.
Abdul-Wali was arrested the morning of the crash on charges of driving on a suspended license and failure to provide proof of insurance. Lara was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died on November 29.
A vehicular homicide by reckless conduct warrant was obtained against Abdul-Wali last week. He was given an opportunity to surrender himself but has yet to do so.
