Woman Critically Injured in Nashville Hit and Run Crash

A 25-year-old woman was critically injured in a hit and run crash in Nashville early Monday morning.

A woman was critically injured in a hit and run crash in Nashville early Monday morning. The incident occurred around 5:30 a.m. on McCall Street near Vaden Drive.

According to the preliminary investigation, 25-year-old Terra Rasmussen was walking against traffic on McCall Street, which has no sidewalks, when she was struck by a vehicle believed to be a 2014-2017 Toyota Corolla. The suspect car would have damage to the front passenger side and would be missing the front passenger side fender liner.

Rasmussen, a resident of Mimosa Drive, was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where she is listed in critical condition.

Investigators with the Metro Nashville Police Department are working to identify the hit and run driver. Anyone with information about the driver or the Toyota Corolla is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers can remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward.

Memphis Man Charged in Scooter Collision in Nashville

Randolph Allen Ford, 73, of Memphis, has been charged with felony vehicular assault and reckless endangerment after his pickup truck collided with a Lime Scooter in Nashville, critically injuring the scooter operator, Leonard John Patrick Roecker, 23, of Wisconsin.
