Violent Crimes detectives in Nashville are on the hunt for a suspect involved in a home invasion and robbery that took place on March 5th. The incident occurred at a Creekwood Drive apartment where a woman, who was pet sitting a pocket bulldog, became the victim of a terrifying ordeal.
According to the victim’s report, upon returning home, she discovered the dog and its crate missing. During her search for the missing pet, she encountered the suspect in her kitchen. The assailant, who brandished a gun and pointed it at her stomach, demanded her purse. After obtaining the purse, the gunman exited through the front door and was seen getting into the backseat of a dark gray four-door sedan with tinted windows. The victim also noticed that her rear glass door had been shattered.
The suspect is described as a young, thin black man dressed entirely in black clothing. In an effort to locate the stolen dog, a photo was shared on social media. It has come to the attention of the detectives that the dog may have already been sold, and they are keen to communicate with the buyer.
The Nashville Police Department is urging anyone with any information regarding this robbery or the whereabouts of the stolen bulldog to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Crime Stoppers offers anonymity to its callers and the possibility of a cash reward for information leading to an arrest.

Teen Charged in Nashville Security Guard Murder
Isaiah K. Moore, 19, has been arrested and charged with the murder of 33-year-old security guard Maurice Thomas Jr. outside Illuzion Bar and Lounge in Nashville, following an altercation that stemmed from a car burglary attempt.
