TSSAA Board of Control Meeting Scheduled for February 27

The TSSAA Board of Control will convene on February 27 to discuss financial reports and school appeals.

The Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA) Board of Control is set to convene on Thursday, February 27, at the association’s office in Hermitage. The session will commence at 9:00 a.m. CST.

Key items on the agenda include a review and approval of financial reports related to the state bowling tournament, Hall of Champions games, and BlueCross Bowl team allotments.

In addition, Red Bank High School is appealing a previous decision regarding a football contract dispute with Cleveland High School. The contract in question required Red Bank to pay Cleveland restitution for a canceled football matchup initially scheduled for September 27, 2024.

Another topic of discussion will be the requests from Crosstown High School, J. Frank White Academy, Grace Baptist Academy, and Chattanooga Central for co-op exceptions in various sports.

Murfreesboro Community Investment Trust Meeting Scheduled

The Board of Trustees of the Murfreesboro Community Investment Trust will convene on February 26, 2025, to review investments with Marquette Associates and discuss grant recommendations for 2026.
