A 16-year-old student from Stratford STEM Magnet School in Nashville was arrested following a tip from a fellow student about the teenager bringing a firearm to school the previous week. The arrest took place early in the morning after the 16-year-old was identified during the investigation. While the student was found with a BB gun at the time of the arrest, the firearm reported to have been in their possession was not recovered. The juvenile is facing charges in Juvenile Court for possessing a handgun and carrying a weapon on school property.

Nashville Police Seize Drugs and Firearms in Raid
Nashville’s Narcotics detectives, supported by Interdiction and Vice detectives, executed a search warrant on Dellway Villa Drive, seizing over an ounce of fentanyl-laced cocaine and two firearms. The apartment’s resident, Archie Cosby Jr., 59, was arrested and charged with multiple felonies, including possession of a firearm and felony drug possession. Cosby, with a history of legal issues, is held on a $63,000 bond as part of the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department’s ongoing efforts to combat illegal drug activities and violent crime.
