Tennessee State Parks offer romantic getaways and events for Valentine's Day Weekend.

Tennessee State Parks provide an array of options for couples looking to celebrate Valentine’s Day Weekend, starting on Friday, February 14. Visitors can enjoy romantic getaways, special dinners, hikes, and unique gift ideas across various state parks.

Several lodges offer special weekend packages for couples. At the Lodge at Paris Landing, guests can experience a relaxing lakeside stay paired with a memorable meal. The Lodge at Fall Creek Falls hosts the “Love & Magic” weekend, featuring fine dining, waterfall tours, a painting class, and entertainment by mentalist and magician Mark Brown. The Lodge at Montgomery Bell offers a relaxing overnight stay and a choice of a romantic dinner on either Friday or Saturday night. At Pickwick Landing State Park, couples can enjoy a one-night lakeside retreat with dinner and breakfast included.

In addition to lodge offerings, several state park restaurants, including those at Cumberland Mountain, David Crockett, and Henry Horton State Parks, will provide Valentine’s Day meals.

Other Valentine’s events include a Love Birds Hike at Seven Islands State Birding Park, exploring bird courtship behaviors and a Valentine’s Day Nature Hike. Red Clay State Historic Park offers a “Couples Cooking Class” focusing on traditional Native American Frybread, and a Galentine’s Day event on February 13. At Sycamore Shoals State Historic Park, participants can learn about 18th-century Valentine’s Day traditions and make a simple heart-shaped basket. Cedars of Lebanon State Park features a romantic Valentine’s Moon Hike.

Dine Nashville Expands Culinary Events in 2025

Dine Nashville is enhancing its February events with new chef collaborations and spirit experiences to benefit the Music City Inc. Foundation, including a special Table 54 event featuring Chef Brian Morris and Chef Andy Little. The month-long celebration will include a segment of the James Beard Foundation’s Taste America series and culminate in Restaurant Week from February 24 to March 2, 2025, showcasing diverse menus from local eateries.
