Crash investigators in Nashville are currently seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a driver involved in a hit and run incident. The accident occurred on Saturday at 6:20 p.m. on the 2200 block of 8th Avenue South. According to preliminary investigations, a pedestrian named Josh T. Taylor, aged 40, was crossing the street after parking his car on the east side when he was struck by a northbound red SUV. The driver of the SUV did not stop after the incident. Taylor was subsequently hit by a second vehicle, whose driver remained at the scene until authorities arrived.
