Metro Action Moves to Remote Operations Due to Winter Weather

The Metropolitan Action Commission will operate remotely due to anticipated inclement weather.

The Metropolitan Action Commission (MAC) has announced that all its buildings will be closed on Wednesday, February 19, due to the forecast of severe winter weather conditions. During this period, the MAC team will provide remote support to assist with requests related to utility payments, rent, mortgage, and other emergency assistance.

Specific changes have been detailed for various MAC operations. The Head Start and Early Head Start pre-school centers will not be open; however, staff will be available remotely to support parents with urgent resources. Similarly, the MAC main office will remain closed, but team members will be accessible remotely to address inquiries regarding utility, rent, and mortgage assistance, along with other agency matters.

For assistance, customers can reach the agency by calling 615-862-8860 or emailing [email protected]. If the weather permits, MAC plans to resume normal operations on Thursday, February 20.
