Felon Released on Bond After High-Speed Chase

A felon is out on bond following a high-speed chase with Nashville police.

A convicted felon, Terron Reeves, aged 35, has been released on an $18,500 bond after a high-speed incident with the TITANS Unit detectives in Nashville. The incident occurred when detectives observed Reeves driving his Honda Accord at 100 miles per hour on I-24 West near Harding Place. When a traffic stop was attempted at Westchester and Brookway Drive, Reeves fled at a high rate of speed. In an attempt to evade capture, Reeves drove into oncoming traffic, nearly colliding with a police vehicle and forcing the detective to veer off the roadway to avoid an accident.

Reeves eventually parked the vehicle in a garage on 11th Avenue North and attempted to flee on foot. He was apprehended shortly thereafter. At the scene, police recovered marijuana, amphetamine pills, and a digital scale. Additional marijuana was found in Reeves’ pocket when he arrived at the Downtown Detention Center.

Reeves now faces charges including felony and misdemeanor evading arrest, contraband in a penal institution, marijuana possession, drug possession without a prescription, evidence tampering, and drug paraphernalia. He has a history of previous convictions related to robbery, drugs, and weapons.
