A 31-year-old convicted felon, Deshawn Williams, has been apprehended in Hermitage, Tennessee, by Robbery Operations detectives. He is currently being held without bond on 19 outstanding warrants, primarily related to domestic incidents. Williams’ legal troubles began accumulating last fall as he repeatedly targeted the mother of his children. His actions included stalking her at her home and through social media platforms.
Last October, Williams was involved in an incident at the woman’s residence in South Nashville, where he removed her doorbell camera and threw heavy objects at her window, shattering the glass. At that time, their three children were inside the house. Despite having outstanding warrants, Williams frequently returned to the residence, causing additional damage to windows, doors, and the garage, forcing the woman to relocate.
Efforts to apprehend Williams intensified, and on November 8, he evaded arrest in North Nashville. After the woman’s relocation, Williams continued his harassment through threatening texts and Facebook messages. On December 30, the woman discovered a video on the same Facebook account from which she had received threats. The video showed Williams standing over her deceased brother’s grave, urinating and pouring alcohol while speaking to the deceased.
Williams has now been booked on various charges, including aggravated child endangerment, aggravated stalking, aggravated criminal trespassing, desecration of a place of worship or burial, felony vandalism, and especially aggravated stalking. Previously, Williams was convicted of attempted second-degree murder in 2010 and served an eight-year sentence.
