Nashville Launches Rideshare Zone Pilot Program
The Nashville Department of Transportation and Multimodal Infrastructure (NDOT), in partnership with the Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC), is launching a four-week rideshare zone pilot program to reduce congestion and improve rideshare experiences during events. Specific areas on Deaderick Street will be designated for rideshare and taxi services, monitored by NDOT Code Enforcement. The initiative aims to gather data for a broader rideshare zone framework as part of Nashville’s Connect Downtown Action Plan, which focuses on reducing downtown congestion through strategies like curb-side passenger loading.
