A 17-year-old has been charged with multiple counts of attempted criminal homicide following an incident at Antioch Park on Blue Hole Road, Nashville. The shooting occurred at 5 a.m. and resulted in the non-critical wounding of the suspect’s sisters, aged 12 and 13. The initial police report came from Southern Hills Medical Center, where the victims were taken by a private vehicle.
Youth Services detectives are investigating the case, revealing that seven individuals were in the vehicle at the time of the shooting. The teenage suspect later arrived at the hospital upon learning of his sisters’ injuries. He confessed to firing at the vehicle, believing it was involved in local vehicle burglaries, and was unaware that his sisters were among the occupants. The investigation is ongoing.

Nashville Woman Charged in Fatal Crash
Shynithia L. Stone, 36, has been charged with vehicular homicide by recklessness after a fatal crash on August 23, which resulted in the death of 46-year-old Tamika Petway. Stone allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign and was driving over the speed limit when her SUV collided with Petway’s vehicle. Stone is being held on a $76,000 bond.
