Ronnie Johnson’s tenure with the City of Murfreesboro began in October 1991, where he initially worked as a temporary employee in the Sanitation Department. Over the years, he has held various positions, both seasonal and full-time, before becoming a Public Works Technician II in the Street Department. His career progression reflects his dedication to public service and the respect he commands among his peers.
The STARS Service Excellence program exists to recognize city employees who demonstrate the highest standards of service excellence, embodying the core values of the city. STARS, which stands for “Succeeding Through Attitudes Reflecting Service Excellence,” acknowledges employees who exceed their regular duties in providing outstanding customer service.
