Nashville’s 615 Indie Live Announces Artist Lineup

Over 50 local artists to perform at Nashville's 615 Indie Live event.

Nashville’s 615 Indie Live has revealed its complete lineup of performers, featuring over 50 local artists who will perform across 14 independent venues in Music City. Notable artists in this lineup include Americana musician Lillie Mae, the country group The Black Opry, and vinyl DJ duo Sparkle City Disco.

Gee Slab of Six One Tribe emphasized the importance of Nashville’s independent venues, stating, “Nashville’s independent venues are the partners that take chances on us early and provide a space to truly hone our craft.” The event aims to support these venues and highlight the unique music culture of the city.

The full event schedule is accessible on the official event app for both iPhone and Android. The app provides ticket holders with the ability to create custom show schedules from noon to 3 a.m. on February 1, 2025, across participating venues. It also includes artist bios and links.

Deana Ivey, President and CEO of the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp, expressed gratitude to event partners, saying, “Their commitment highlights the strong community support for the remarkable talent of local artists and the cultural importance of small, independent music clubs.” Ticket proceeds will benefit the Music Venue Alliance Nashville (MVAN) and its Emergency Relief Fund, which supports independent venues during financial difficulties.

Event passes are available for $15, which includes taxes and fees, granting access to all participating venues. T-shirts and posters are also available for purchase as part of the fundraiser. The event is produced by the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp in collaboration with Music Venue Alliance Nashville.

Chris Cobb, President of the Music Venue Alliance Nashville, described the event as “a celebration of our community,” inviting attendees to discover new artists and support the local music scene.

The artist lineup includes Abigail Rose, Anne McCue, Austin Grimm, The Black Opry, and many more. Previously announced artists include Alanna Royale, Alicia Blue, BEAN., and The Wooten Brothers among others.

Participating venues include 3rd and Lindsley, Acme Feed & Seed, Cannery Hall, and others. The Music Venue Alliance Nashville, a nonprofit organization, plays a vital role in supporting Nashville’s independent music ecosystem, advocating for the city’s music scene and fostering its growth.

New Music Workshop Launches at Nashville State

The TBR Center for Workforce Development and Nashville Songwriters Association International are launching a six-week music industry workshop at Nashville State Community College beginning February 11, 2025. Led by industry professionals like Tom Douglas and Mike Molinar, the program aims to equip aspiring musicians with essential skills for the music industry, featuring evening sessions focused on various aspects of songwriting and music business.
