Murfreesboro Water Resources Department Relocates to New Office

Water Resources Department moves to Robert Rose Drive, opening Jan. 16, 2025.

The City of Murfreesboro Water Resources Department is set to open its new location at 316 Robert Rose Drive on January 16, 2025. This move follows nearly 50 years of operation on NW Broad Street. The new offices will consolidate the Customer Service, Administration, Engineering, Finance, and Stormwater divisions under one roof, located behind Home Depot off Old Fort Parkway.

The existing customer service lobby at 300 NW Broad Street will cease operations on January 14, 2025, with both the old and new locations closed on January 15 for the transition.

At the new address, the department will provide a range of services Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Customers can handle new service setups, service terminations, service transfers, account inquiries, bill payments, and more. Engineering and Stormwater services include development coordination, construction plan reviews, and stormwater quality inspections.

For convenience, online services such as ebilling accounts and automatic payments are accessible through the e-billing portal here. Customers can also use the Automated phone system and the Online account access portal, “LINK,” for account balance checks and payments, available here.

For further information, visit www.murfreesborotn.gov/mwrd or contact the department at 615-848-3209 or 615-893-1223 for emergency or after-hours assistance.

Directions to the new location from the old office involve a left turn from NW Broad Street onto Old Fort Parkway/TN-96, a right turn onto Mall Circle Drive, and continuing to Robert Rose Drive. The new office is on the right.

Post-relocation, the administrative offices at 300 NW Broad will be demolished to pave the way for the Keystone Project, a mixed-use development aiming to revitalize downtown Murfreesboro, with construction scheduled to commence in 2025.
