Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation has announced several schedule changes due to weather conditions. All exercise classes and water aerobics classes at Patterson Park Community Center and Sports*Com are canceled for Friday, January 10th. Additionally, the pools at both Patterson Park Community Center and Sports*Com will close at 1 pm on the same day. All Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation Department (MPRD) facilities will close at 4:30 pm today and will reopen on Saturday, January 11th, at 10 am. Furthermore, Murfreesboro City League Youth Basketball practices scheduled for Saturday, January 11th, have also been canceled. The city of Murfreesboro is conducting a Housing Needs Assessment to guide its next five-year consolidated plan, focusing on the community’s housing requirements and utilizing HUD grant funds. Residents are invited to participate by completing an online survey or attending workshops on January 15 and 16, 2025, at the Murfreesboro Airport Business Center.
