The city of Murfreesboro is conducting a Housing Needs Assessment to help shape the priorities for its next five-year consolidated plan and the Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice. This consolidated plan is crucial as it identifies the general needs of the community and outlines a five-year strategy for utilizing HUD grant funds to develop resources that address those needs.
Residents are encouraged to provide their input by completing an online survey. The survey can be accessed through the following link: Murfreesboro Needs Survey. Additionally, two workshops have been scheduled for those who prefer to give their feedback in person. The workshops will take place on January 15, 2025, at 1:00 PM, and January 16, 2025, at 9:00 AM. Both sessions will be held at the Murfreesboro Airport Business Center, located at 1930 Memorial Blvd, Murfreesboro, TN 37130.
Residents’ contributions are essential in ensuring that the city’s plans effectively meet the community’s housing needs.
