Online Reporting Boosts Nashville Police Efficiency
The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department improved its operational efficiency by implementing an online reporting system for non-emergency incidents, saving over 22,000 officer hours in 2024. This system, which began for crash incidents in August 2022 and expanded to minor offenses in December 2023, allows officers to focus on critical community issues. The initiative is part of MNPD’s efforts to enhance public safety in Nashville. For more information, individuals can visit the MNPD resources like interactive crime maps and reporting options for aggressive driving or criminal activity through the Nashville Hub: Interactive Crime Maps, Report Aggressive Driver, Report Criminal Activity.
