Metro Action Commission Moves to Remote Operations Due to Weather

MAC will operate remotely on January 10 due to anticipated winter weather.

The Metropolitan Action Commission (MAC) has announced that all of its buildings will be closed on Friday, January 10, in anticipation of inclement winter weather. Despite the closure, MAC team members will be available to provide remote assistance for various needs, including utility payments, rent, mortgage, and other emergency assistance.

Operational changes due to the weather include the closure of MAC’s Head Start and Early Head Start pre-school centers, with team members available remotely to support parents in accessing emergency resources. Additionally, the MAC main office location and headquarters will be closed, but remote support will continue for utility payments and other agency matters.

Customers seeking assistance can contact the agency via the call center at 615-862-8860 or email at metro.action@nashville.gov. If weather conditions permit, Metro Action plans to resume normal operations on Monday, January 13.
