Investigation Underway in I-40 East Fatal Shooting

Detectives are probing the fatal shooting of Uriel Miller on I-40 East.

Detectives from the Homicide Unit are currently investigating the fatal shooting of Uriel Miller, a 26-year-old man, which occurred on I-40 East. The incident appears to have taken place while Miller was driving a Ford Crown Victoria. Responding officers found Miller in the driver’s seat with a gunshot wound to his shoulder. The vehicle was positioned against the cement barrier separating the eastbound and westbound lanes.

Initial observations noted that the front passenger window had been shot out, and there was a bullet defect in the rear driver’s side window. A firearm was discovered in the driver’s door of Miller’s vehicle. The motive behind the shooting is still under investigation.

Nashville Teens Arrested for Stolen Guns and Vehicle

Six teenagers in Nashville were arrested after being linked to stolen firearms and a stolen vehicle, with the group found in a stolen Hyundai Elantra near a school.
