Homicide detectives are currently investigating a case of murder-suicide that took place on Baby Ruth Lane in Antioch. The incident involves the deaths of Eric Lebron Hale, 53, and his girlfriend, Cheron Sanders, 47. According to the authorities, it is believed that Hale fatally shot Sanders before turning the gun on himself.
The tragic event was discovered on Friday evening when Sanders’ son found the bodies and called the police. Officers arrived at the apartment shortly before 6 p.m. to find both individuals deceased.
Further investigation reveals that Hale had a history of violence towards Sanders. In March 2024, he was arrested and charged with felony aggravated assault after Sanders reported that Hale had pulled her hair and threatened her with a knife. However, this charge was dismissed in July of the previous year.
