Investigation into Antioch High School Shooting
Authorities, including the MNPD, are investigating the online activities of 17-year-old Solomon Henderson to determine the motive behind a shooting at Antioch High School that resulted in the death of 16-year-old Josselin Corea Escalante and the injury of another student. Henderson died from a self-inflicted gunshot, and there appears to be no connection between him and the victims, indicating the gunfire may have been random. MNPD Chief John Drake has extended condolences to the community, and law enforcement continues to protect juvenile information regarding Henderson.
