Driver of Nissan Versa Dies in Highway 100 Crash

A 78-year-old driver died in a single-vehicle accident on Highway 100.

A tragic accident occurred on Highway 100 this morning, resulting in the death of Orin Odom, a 78-year-old resident of Nashville. Mr. Odom was driving a Nissan Versa northeast when he apparently experienced a medical event. This led him to veer off the roadway near Old Hickory Boulevard, where he collided head-on with a tree. Sadly, Mr. Odom was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Authorities are currently working to notify his family of this unfortunate incident.

Fatal Motorcycle Crash on Murfreesboro Pike

A motorcyclist, Charles Cromwell, died after a collision with a Buick Envision near the intersection of Murfreesboro Pike and Pineway Drive. The Buick attempted a left turn, colliding with Cromwell’s Suzuki Hayabusa. The Buick driver was also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, and no signs of impairment were found in either driver.
