Detectives Seek Group for Questioning in Nashville Shooting

Nashville detectives search for individuals linked to a fatal shooting incident.

Homicide detectives in Nashville are currently working to identify a group of individuals for questioning related to a shooting incident that occurred on June 8, 2024. The shooting took place in the parking lot of a Walgreens located at 2819 Nolensville Pike and resulted in the death of 74-year-old Clarence Roach.

According to surveillance footage from the day of the incident, Roach was seen interacting with a suspect in a dark-colored sedan. The suspect allegedly followed Roach into his vehicle, where Roach was shot once. Three individuals captured in the surveillance images were inside the Walgreens at the time of the shooting. These individuals reportedly entered the suspect’s sedan before the vehicle fled west on Thompson Lane.
