Country Music Hall of Fame Unveils American Currents Exhibit

The Country Music Hall of Fame launches the 2025 American Currents exhibit in Nashville.

The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville, Tennessee, is set to open its latest exhibition, “American Currents: State of the Music,” on March 5, 2025. This exhibit, which will be part of the museum’s ACM Gallery until January 2026, is included with museum admission. Presented annually, American Currents provides a comprehensive look at the past year’s developments in country music, showcasing artist achievements and notable events as curated by the museum staff.

Kyle Young, CEO of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, highlighted the exhibition’s role in examining a variety of musical events from the previous year. Young noted the innovative collaborations and honors that contributed to the genre’s growing reach. The exhibition features artists, musicians, and songwriters who made a significant impact on country music in 2024, including Jessi Alexander, Kelsea Ballerini, Kane Brown, Luke Combs, HARDY, Jelly Roll, and many others.

A special section of the exhibit, “Unbroken Circle,” will emphasize the connections between emerging artists and their influences. Pairings such as Wyatt Ellis with Sierra Hull, and Kaitlin Butts with Miranda Lambert, will be highlighted. Additionally, the exhibit will cover important moments in country music in 2024, including Beyoncé’s release of “Cowboy Carter,” chart-topping albums, singles, and high-grossing tours.

Visitors can also view a video compilation of significant performances and events from the past year, featuring artists such as Zach Bryan, Dasha, Sierra Ferrell, and members of the Country Music Hall of Fame like Joe Bonsall and Kris Kristofferson. An interactive touchscreen will highlight key awards show moments.
