Tarell Lewis, a 43-year-old convicted felon, has been apprehended by the Specialized Investigations Division detectives for allegedly being involved in a shooting incident that took place in October on Delta Avenue, Nashville. The incident occurred following an argument between Lewis and the 32-year-old victim’s girlfriend, during which the victim attempted to intervene. Lewis reportedly fired shots toward them from his vehicle before fleeing the scene. The victim sustained a gunshot wound to the ankle and was transported to General Hospital by his girlfriend for treatment.
Lewis was located by detectives on Wednesday in Cheatham Place, where he was observed engaging in drug deals with several individuals. Upon his arrest, authorities recovered marijuana from his vehicle and on his person. Lewis faces charges of aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, felony drug possession, and being a felon in possession of a weapon. He is currently held on a $157,500 bond.
