Air Pollution Permit Application Submitted in Nashville

Nashville reviews application for air pollution source construction and modification.

An application has been submitted to the Metro Public Health Department’s Air Pollution Control Division for a construction permit and/or a synthetic minor operating permit regarding an air pollution source. This application is subject to the Metropolitan Code of Laws, Chapter 10.56, titled “Air Pollution Control.” Specifically, the application must adhere to Section 10.56.020, “Construction Permits,” Paragraph N, as well as Section 10.56.040, “Operating Permits” and Section 3-2 of Regulation 3, “New Source Review.” These regulations necessitate public notification and allow for a 30-day public comment period.

For those interested, copies of the application package are available for public review at the Metro Public Health Department, Vital Records Division, located at 2500 Charlotte Avenue, Nashville, Tennessee. The department encourages the public to submit comments, which must be received by the Air Pollution Control Division Office by March 2, 2025. Comments can also be emailed to the division.

NDOT Launches Rideshare Zone Pilot Program
