The Cheekwood Estate & Gardens in Nashville, Tennessee, is set to host its annual Winter Concert Series in 2025, offering a diverse array of musical performances to warm attendees on chilly nights. For the third consecutive year, audiences can enjoy intimate concerts held in the elegant Massey Auditorium within Botanic Hall. The series promises a variety of musical genres, including Latin rhythms, jazz classics, and New Orleans rhythm, blues, and soul.
The concerts are scheduled to take place at 7 p.m. on three dates: January 25, February 14, and March 1, 2025. Mark Mason, Cheekwood’s Director of Music and Public Programs, expressed excitement about the upcoming event, highlighting the opportunity for audiences to enjoy world-class musicians in a cozy setting.
The series kicks off on January 25 with the Music City Latin Orchestra, led by Grammy Award-winning multi-instrumentalist Giovanni Rodriguez. This 13-piece orchestra will bring the vibrant rhythms of Cuba and Latin America to life, encouraging attendees to dance the night away.
On February 14, Lisa Stewart and the Love Notes will perform for the first-ever Valentine’s Day concert at Cheekwood. Known for her four-octave vocal range, Stewart, an acclaimed jazz vocalist, will deliver traditional jazz standards and classic love ballads. Attendees can opt for a Sweetheart Serenade Ticket Package, which includes special amenities and reserved parking.
The final concert on March 1 features the Crescent City Hoodoo All-Stars, led by Chris Walters. This Mardi Gras celebration will fill the venue with the lively sounds of New Orleans jazz, blues, and soul.
Tickets for the Winter Concert Series will be available for purchase starting December 3 for Cheekwood members, with general sales opening on December 10. Ticket prices are set at $35 for members and $45 for non-members.
Cheekwood offers a wide array of musical events throughout the year, including programs like Thursday Night Out, Saturday Sounds, and Sunday Jazz in the Beer Garden. The estate also hosts the Under the Stars Concert Series during the summer.
