Unidentified Man Dies in Fiery Single-Vehicle Crash

An unidentified man died in a fiery crash on Lebanon Pike in Nashville.

An unidentified man lost his life in a tragic single-vehicle crash on Sunday night at approximately 9 p.m. in the 1700 block of Lebanon Pike, Nashville. Preliminary investigations indicate that a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck was traveling eastbound at high speed. The vehicle failed to negotiate a slight curve in the road, striking a utility pole before colliding with a tree. The impact caused the pickup to become engulfed in flames.

A passing motorist witnessed the accident and promptly called 911. Emergency responders from the Nashville Fire Department (NFD) arrived at the scene and extinguished the fire. The Medical Examiner’s Office is currently working to identify the driver of the Silverado.
