From December 4 to December 11, 2024, various construction projects across West Tennessee will result in either daytime or nighttime lane closures. These closures will occur as necessary across 21 counties in Region 4.
### District 47
**Carroll County**
– **SR-76 (US-79)**: Lane closures for grading, drainage, noise walls, and paving will affect traffic from near SR 77 to near Cutlip Lane. Meadowbrook Lane was closed on September 16, 2024, and Big Buck Road on November 11, 2024. Detours are available.
– **SR-22**: Intersection improvements at the Huntingdon Industrial Park entrance will impact lanes on Clyde Road and Lexington Street.
**Dyer County**
– **SR-211**: The North Fork Forked Deer River bridge will have outside lane closures for inspection starting August 9, 2024.
– **I-155**: Resurfacing and bridge expansion joint repairs will lead to temporary lane closures.
**Gibson/Carroll County**
– **SR-76 (US-79)**: Construction from Cades-Atwood Road in Gibson County to east of SR 77 in Carroll County will result in temporary lane closures. Traffic has shifted to newly constructed lanes as of November 11.
**Obion County**
– **SR-22**: Resurfacing will cause temporary lane closures from SR5 to SR21.
### District 48
**Chester County**
– **U.S. 45 (SR 5)**: Bridge repairs will cause southbound lane closures starting October 1, 2024.
**Decatur County**
– **SR 69**: Resurfacing will cause temporary lane closures but one lane will remain open.
**Hardin County**
– **SR128**: Bridge rehabilitation over Pickwick Dam will result in lane closures with one lane open at all times.
**Madison County**
– **U.S. 412 (SR 20)**: Resurfacing will lead to lane closures with one lane open in both directions.
– **Non-TDOT Work**: AT&T will close a northbound lane on US45 for cable installation from December 11 to December 13.
**Haywood County**
– **I-40**: Lane closures for resurfacing at mile markers 51.3 and 48.2 during nighttime hours from December 2 to December 5 and December 8.
**Henderson and Decatur County**
– **I-40**: Lane closures from MM 95 to MM 126 for pothole patching on December 4 and December 5.
### District 49
**Fayette County**
– **SR-222**: Lane closures for roadwork, with speed limit reduced to 40 MPH.
– **I-40**: Intermittent lane closures and ramp closures from December 8 to December 19 for paving operations.
**Shelby County**
– **SR-175 (Shelby Drive)** and **SR-4 (Lamar Avenue)**: Nightly lane closures for roadway widening.
– **SR-14**: Widening project causing temporary lane closures and detours.
– **I-240 at Exit 23**: Lane closures for safety improvements until December 15, 2024.
– **I-40 Hernando de Soto Bridge**: Lane closures for repairs with detours posted from December 3 to December 20.
– **I-55 Interchange at E. H. Crump Blvd.**: Construction will lead to lane closures and detours.
– **SR 385 at Riverdale**: Temporary right lane closure on December 4 for CCTV repair.
– **SR-14 at I-55 Interchange**: Lane closure on December 9 for ITS maintenance.
**Non-TDOT Work** in Shelby County will also cause long-term lane closures on SR-177 (Germantown Road) for widening and intersection improvements.
**Tipton County**
– **US-51 (SR-3)**: Temporary lane closures for safety improvements at Kenwood Avenue.
