Police Seek Help Identifying Shooting Suspects in Nashville

Detectives request public assistance to identify suspects in a Nashville shooting incident.

The Specialized Investigations Division of the Nashville Police Department is calling on the public to help identify individuals involved in a shooting incident on December 9th. The incident took place outside a residence on Fanning Drive, where a 61-year-old man was shot in the ankle. Witnesses reported that drivers of two Dodge Challengers were performing donuts and burnouts in front of the victim’s home, nearly hitting a family member. When the victim confronted the drivers and mentioned calling the police, they initially left the scene. However, the white Challenger returned, and after a verbal exchange, the front passenger fired shots, injuring the victim. The driver of the white Challenger is described as a white male with a fade haircut, while the shooter is described as a black male, both appearing to be in their early 20s. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the suspects or the vehicles involved to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.
