Nashville, TN – December 11, 2024 – The lineup for “New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash,” an entertainment special on CBS, has expanded with the addition of several well-known performers. The event will be hosted by Keith Urban, a four-time GRAMMY Award winner, and Rachel Smith from “Entertainment Tonight.” The live broadcast will air on Tuesday, December 31, from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM ET/PT and from 10:30 PM to 1:30 AM ET/PT on CBS and will stream on Paramount+.
Newly announced performers for the CBS special include Big & Rich, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Tyler Hubbard, Miranda Lambert, Post Malone, Shaboozey, Brittney Spencer, Chris Stapleton, Zach Top, and Lainey Wilson. Previously revealed headliners include Keith Urban, Kane Brown, and Jelly Roll performing from Bicentennial Park, while Parker McCollum will perform from the Brooklyn Bowl. Special guests for the evening include SiriusXM and CMT host Cody Alan and SiriusXM host Caylee Hammack.
The five-hour broadcast will showcase over 40 performances, live from Nashville, the heart of country music. The event will include a countdown with the East Coast at midnight and continue the festivities through midnight Central Time, featuring the city’s iconic Music Note Drop at Bicentennial Mall.
The special will present unique collaborations, with artists performing with special guests and friends, covering both their greatest hits and classic country music songs. Additional details will be released in the weeks leading up to the event.
