The Department of Safety and Homeland Security in Tennessee has announced that the Lebanon Driver Services Center located at 204 Maddux Simpson Parkway, which was closed for remodeling since July 15, and the Columbia Driver Services Center at 1701 Hampshire Pike, which underwent flooring replacement starting December 5, will both resume operations on Wednesday, December 18. Both centers will follow regular business hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central.
The Driver Services mobile unit stationed at the City of Lebanon Public Works Building, 406 Tennessee Blvd., will cease operations on Tuesday, December 17. Appointments previously made for the mobile unit will now be accommodated at the Lebanon Driver Services Center.
Visitors to the renovated Lebanon Driver Services Center will notice several updates, including new furniture, fresh paint, updated flooring, new credentialing equipment, and self-service kiosks. These kiosks allow users to complete various Driver Services transactions such as renewing or replacing a Driver License or ID Card, changing an address, updating emergency contact information, advancing a Teen/Graduated Driver License, paying reinstatement fees, and requesting a license reissue upon meeting reinstatement requirements. The kiosks are also equipped to take photos and process payments via Apple Pay, Google Pay, or credit/debit cards.
