Homicide Unit detectives are actively investigating the fatal shooting of 36-year-old Jerome Gordon, which occurred on Sunday night at approximately 9 p.m. on Harrington Avenue. Gordon was discovered with a gunshot wound to his head near a backyard fence. He was promptly transported to Skyline Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The location of the incident is a condemned residence reportedly occupied by homeless individuals. Neighbors reported hearing an argument shortly before the gunshot was fired.
