Homicide detectives are actively investigating the fatal shooting of 18-year-old Ashley Dominguez, which occurred early Sunday morning outside an after-hours club located at 981 Murfreesboro Pike in Nashville. Witnesses reported that the incident followed a heated argument, leading to gunfire directed at a car with five occupants, including Dominguez, who was seated in the rear.
The driver of the vehicle pulled into a parking lot on the 1300 block of Murfreesboro Pike upon realizing that Dominguez and two other women, both aged 19, had sustained injuries. All three were promptly transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Unfortunately, Dominguez succumbed to her injuries, while the other two women received treatment and were released.
Detectives have conducted interviews with multiple individuals as part of their investigation, which remains ongoing. The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department continues to pursue leads in this case.
