Authorities are investigating a fatal crash that occurred on Wednesday morning on Blue Hole Road, near Tusculum Road, Nashville. The incident involved a Mitsubishi Outlander driven by 68-year-old Pauline Jenkins. Preliminary findings suggest that Jenkins’ vehicle veered off course, colliding with a mailbox on Shacklett Lane Court, before making a turn onto Tusculum Road and eventually running into a ditch on Blue Hole Road.
The damage to the vehicle was reported as minimal. Following the accident, Jenkins was transported to Southern Hills Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. Investigators are currently working with medical professionals to determine whether a medical event may have contributed to the crash.
