A tragic hit-and-run incident occurred on Saturday at approximately 8:10 p.m. near the intersection of Murfreesboro Pike and McGavock Pike in Nashville. The victim, identified tentatively as a 22-year-old local resident, was struck by a vehicle while in the roadway. The vehicle involved is described as a silver Nissan of unknown model, which fled the scene following the collision. Unfortunately, the pedestrian succumbed to injuries at the site of the crash.
The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department is conducting a thorough investigation into this case. The Medical Examiner’s Office is in the process of confirming the identity of the deceased. Authorities are appealing to the public for any information that may assist in identifying the vehicle or driver involved.
