Nashville, TN – On December 31, CBS Television Network will air “New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash,” a five-hour entertainment special celebrating the arrival of the new year. Hosted by four-time GRAMMY® Award-winner Keith Urban and Rachel Smith from “Entertainment Tonight,” the event will be broadcast live from Nashville. The show is scheduled to air from 8:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT, and 10:30 PM-1:30 AM, ET/PT, and will also be available for streaming on Paramount+ for subscribers.
The event promises a star-studded lineup with appearances by comedians Bert Kreischer and Leanne Morgan, as well as actors Montana Jordan and Bunnie Xo. Musical performances will include Katelyn Brown singing alongside her husband Kane Brown, and Alana Springsteen performing with Keith Urban.
The special will feature over 40 performances from artists such as Big & Rich, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Tyler Hubbard, Miranda Lambert, Post Malone, Shaboozey, Brittney Spencer, Chris Stapleton, Zach Top, and Lainey Wilson. Headliners will include Keith Urban, Kane Brown, and Jelly Roll performing from Bicentennial Park.
Viewers can also join the ball drop countdown in Times Square with Dustin Lynch and WCBS-New York Weather Anchor Lonnie Quinn, while Urban and Smith will host the Music Note Drop at the Bicentennial Mall stage to usher in the Central Time Zone’s midnight celebration.
In Nashville, the festivities will be free at Bicentennial Park, or attendees can purchase tickets for the Official Watch Party at Brooklyn Bowl, featuring a performance by Parker McCollum. Knoxville will host its fourth annual New Year’s Eve celebration at the Sunsphere on December 31, 2024, featuring music, activities, and a midnight ball drop. The event, sponsored by Lowe’s, is free, family-friendly, and alcohol-free, with festivities starting at 9 p.m. at World’s Fair Park, complemented by various downtown activities.
