Developed through a collaboration between New Orleans-based HRI Hospitality and Nashville’s C.B. Ragland Company, the hotel presents 210 rooms and provides 2,200 square feet of meeting space, a fitness center, and flexible areas for work and social events.
The hotel features Café Between, an all-day coffee and cocktail lounge that welcomes both guests and locals. Managed by HRI Lodging, the hotel aims to provide an immersive experience into Nashville’s vibrant culture and music scene, acting as a starting point for exploring the city. It also emphasizes a warm and welcoming atmosphere with its industrial-inspired design and community-focused offerings.
Caption by Hyatt has seen significant expansion, with recent openings in Osaka, Japan, and Shanghai, China, and plans for future locations in Sydney, Australia, and Tokyo, Japan. The hotel in Nashville is the second Caption by Hyatt in the U.S., following one in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
The property includes stylish guestrooms adorned with Nashville-inspired décor, celebrating the rich history of the Gulch, a once-industrial area. Rooms include unique railroad-inspired elements, such as headboard murals and train-themed art pieces. Guest amenities include flat-screen TVs, mini-fridges, and coffee makers, with sustainability efforts like large-format plant-based bathroom products.
Café Between serves as a dynamic social space for both hotel guests and the local community, offering various seating arrangements, from cozy lounge sofas to stylish bar seating. It provides a venue for connecting over meals, coffee, and cocktails, adapting to guests’ needs throughout the day.
For meetings and events, the hotel offers 2,200 square feet of flexible space with an industrial design inspired by the area’s railroad heritage. The hotel is also committed to sustainability, featuring a rainwater harvesting system that efficiently captures and filters rainwater for reuse.
