The 2024 BlueCross Bowl is set to return to Chattanooga for the fourth consecutive year, as Chattanooga Sports teams up with the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA) to host the state high school football championships. The event will take place from December 5-7, 2024, at Finley Stadium, located at 1826 Reggie White Blvd., Chattanooga, TN. Local and regional teams, including Baylor School, McCallie School, Marion County High School, and South Pittsburg High School, will participate in the event. A full schedule of the games can be found here.
The BlueCross Bowl is recognized as Tennessee’s premier high school football event, featuring 18 teams competing in nine championship games over three days. This year’s event is anticipated to draw thousands of fans and over 1,100 high school athletes, contributing an estimated $3 million economic impact to the local Chattanooga community. The championship is among the key sporting events that have bolstered Chattanooga’s reputation as Tennessee’s “Title Town.”
Tickets for the BlueCross Bowl are available for purchase online for $15.00 each, plus processing fees, while gate tickets will cost $20.00 each. This year introduces the Dr. Pepper VIP Lounge, offering an enhanced experience with an all-inclusive menu, unlimited non-alcoholic drinks, games, and special giveaways in a heated lounge overlooking the field.
Chattanooga Sports encourages individuals and groups to volunteer for the event, helping with various operations and becoming part of Chattanooga’s championship traditions. Those interested can find more information and register to volunteer online.
