Volunteers in Medicine (VIM), Chattanooga, is dedicated to meeting the healthcare needs of the medically underserved in the community. The organization aims to provide life-changing healthcare services to individuals who have no other options. The values upheld by VIM include compassion, dignity for every individual, and a Christ-like love for others. These values are embodied by the staff and over 100 volunteers who contribute their time and expertise to the clinic.
VIM ensures that patients are never billed for any of their programs and services. However, the cost of operating the clinic is significant. To support its mission, VIM will host “For the Good,” a mission-focused awards luncheon. This event will offer guests the chance to learn more about VIM, hear directly from patients and providers, and contribute to the organization’s efforts.
The 2025 “For the Good” event is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. The luncheon aims to benefit uninsured neighbors in need and invites supporters to join in this cause. For more information, visit the Chattanooga Chamber’s website via this link.
