Thieves Steal ATM Using Stolen Pickup Truck

Four suspects used a stolen truck to steal an ATM from a Murfreesboro convenience store.

Murfreesboro, Tenn. – On November 25, 2024, Murfreesboro Police detectives announced they are looking for four individuals involved in a daring theft at a local convenience store. The incident occurred at the 7-Eleven Exxon on S. Church Street on Thursday, November 14, at 5:33 a.m.

The suspects used a stolen 2006 silver GMC Sierra pickup truck to smash through the front glass of the store. While the store was open and occupied by a clerk and several customers, the suspects tied a guy wire around the ATM inside. The truck was then driven forward, yanking the ATM from its foundation. The suspects loaded the ATM into the truck’s bed and fled the scene.

The stolen pickup truck was later found abandoned on Rutherford Blvd. It had been taken from a residence on Veterans Parkway. Additionally, the damaged ATM was recovered. Prior to the theft, surveillance footage captured the suspects and the stolen truck behind a church on Veterans Parkway. They were in the company of a stolen Chevy Suburban, a blue Dodge Charger, and a dark gray Infiniti SUV. While the Suburban has been found, authorities are still searching for the Charger and the Infiniti.

Detective Ed Gorham of the Criminal Investigations Division Property Crimes is leading the investigation. The police urge anyone with information to contact Detective Gorham at 629-201-5507. The investigation remains ongoing.
