The Tennessee Titans Mr. Football Awards ceremony is set to honor the top high school football players from nine classifications of the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA) on December 10, 2024, at Nissan Stadium in Nashville. In addition to the classification-based awards, a Mr. Football Award will also be presented to the state’s top kicker.
Semifinalists for each classification were announced on November 7. Division I comprises six classifications, while Division II consists of three. Mike Keith and Titans head coach Brian Callahan announced three finalists for each category at 6:30 pm CT/7:30 pm ET. These finalists will attend the awards luncheon at Nissan Stadium, where the winners will be revealed.
The selection of finalists was conducted by a committee of statewide sports writers, who considered performance during the 2024 regular season, along with academics and character. High school head coaches and media members contributed nominations.
Mark Reeves, Executive Director of the TSSAA, expressed gratitude for the Titans’ support: “Having the awards presented at Nissan Stadium will provide a very special atmosphere for these outstanding student-athletes.”
This marks the 40th year of the Mr. Football Awards, recognizing Tennessee’s top high school football talent. Winners will receive a Mr. Football trophy, while the other two finalists in each category will receive a plaque. Semifinalists will receive a certificate.
Mike Keith, the play-by-play voice of the Tennessee Titans, will host the awards presentation. A live video stream of the event will be available on the Tennessee Titans website.
