Suspects Arrested in Donelson Murder Case

Two suspects arrested for the August murder of a Clarksville resident in Donelson.

Two individuals, Jeremiah Henderson and Markaisha Keal, have been taken into custody in connection with a murder case from August 19, where a 20-year-old Clarksville resident was killed in Donelson. The victim, Xavier Johnson, was reportedly lured to a home on Maplecrest Drive through communication on Instagram with Keal. Upon arrival, he was led to the rear of the property, where Henderson allegedly waited and shot him multiple times. The suspects then reportedly took Johnson’s belongings.

Both suspects were apprehended by Clarksville Police during an investigation into a separate domestic violence incident involving them. Henderson, 18, and Keal, 20, were found to be wanted in Nashville on charges of criminal homicide. Keal has been returned to Nashville and is currently held without bond, while Henderson remains in Montgomery County pending his transfer.

Detective Arthur Hipp of the Homicide Unit connected Keal and Henderson to the murder after they fled Nashville on a Greyhound bus to Biloxi, Mississippi, the day following the incident. Criminal homicide warrants were issued on October 31, and the suspects were entered into a national law enforcement database. A fugitive hold has been placed on Henderson, ensuring his return to Nashville following resolution of his current legal matters in Clarksville.
