Pedestrian Fatality in I-24 Hit and Run

An 18-year-old pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run on I-24 West.

A tragic incident unfolded on I-24 West near Bell Road on Monday evening when an 18-year-old woman from Antioch was fatally struck in a hit-and-run accident. The incident occurred around 6:40 p.m. when the pedestrian was in the middle of the interstate and was hit by an unidentified vehicle that did not stop.

Subsequent vehicles, which remained at the scene, also struck the woman, though these are not believed to be responsible for the initial impact. The reasons for her presence in the traffic lane are currently unknown. Unfortunately, the woman succumbed to her injuries at the scene, and authorities are in the process of notifying her family.

Nashville Police Pursue Armed Robbery Suspects

Detectives from Nashville‘s Violent Crimes Division are seeking to identify four male suspects involved in armed robberies targeting Hispanic victims in the Richards Road and Antioch Pike area. The suspects are believed to use two vehicles, including a red car with front-end damage, to steal jewelry, phones, and wallets at gunpoint.
