Nashville Detectives Seek Dollar General Theft Suspects

Detectives are attempting to identify suspects involved in a Dollar General theft incident.

Detectives in Nashville are actively working to identify two individuals involved in a theft at a Dollar General store located at 2724 Murfreesboro Pike. The incident occurred on October 27, when the suspects—a male and a female—entered the store at 6 p.m. and began shoplifting items worth several hundred dollars.

Upon attempting to leave the store, the security alarm was triggered, prompting a female employee to confront the suspects. In response, the female suspect reportedly brandished a kitchen knife, threatening the employee. Both suspects then fled the scene in a silver Honda SUV.

The authorities have released surveillance images of the suspects and are urging anyone who recognizes them to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. The investigation is ongoing, and the police are relying on the public’s assistance to bring the suspects to justice.

Homicide Suspect Captured in Chattanooga

Shakia Davidson, a 22-year-old suspect wanted for the homicide of Dorothy Stephenson, was arrested in Chattanooga. The incident involved a fatal shooting after an argument over a shared romantic interest. Davidson initially evaded capture, but was apprehended with assistance from the Nashville Metro Police Department. She is being returned to Nashville to face charges.
