Murfreesboro Water Resources Department Relocates to New Office

Murfreesboro Water Resources Department is moving to a new location on Robert Rose Drive.

The Murfreesboro Water Resources Department (MWRD) is preparing to relocate after nearly five decades at its current location on Northwest Broad Street. The new office will be situated at 316 Robert Rose Drive, conveniently located behind Home Depot off Old Fort Parkway/Hwy 96. Although an exact moving date has not yet been confirmed, the transition is expected to take place in November.

This move will consolidate several divisions of the department, including Administrative, Engineering, Customer Service, Finance, and Stormwater, all under one roof. The new location is designed to offer enhanced customer service, providing more parking spaces and an additional entrance off the newly developed Gateway Blvd.

Until the move is finalized, the department will continue to operate from its current location on NW Broad Street, maintaining regular office hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The department plans to keep the public updated regarding the move date once it is confirmed. For more information, you can visit the Murfreesboro Water Resources Department’s website here.
